The Ryazan diocese managed to sue the school building

June 4, 2021 Arbitration Court of the Ryazan Region satisfied the claim of the Ryazan diocese for the recognition of illegal refusal of the city administration to transfer to the ownership of the church the buildings on Seminarskaya Street, in where the school with in-depth study of the French language is located.

The school has occupied this 1812 building since 1947 of the year. Until 1917 it housed a seminary.

The city administration intends to appeal against the decision of the court. According to the mayor of Ryazan, Elena Sorokina, if the attempt fails, the school building will be included in the plan transfers for a period of six years from the date of application. School continues to work.
