An Orthodox parish in the Vologda region achieved recognition of ownership of the temple through the court

On June 16, 2021, it became known that in the Vologda region, the court recognized the right of the Orthodox Parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Zubovo, Belozersky District to the church built by the community.

The temple was built in the village Zubovo in 2006 through voluntary donations and funds raised by the community.

Defendants in a lawsuit the administration of the Belozersky district and the administration of the rural settlement spoke, who did not object to the recognition of ownership of the building by the Russian Orthodox Church.
