The Olympic Committee of Russia issued instructions to Russian athletes how to behave at the Tokyo Olympics, including with journalists and social networks. The memo has ready -made answers to questions about doping, Crimea, Donbass, Harassment and the Black Lives Matter movement. This is written by Vedomosti with reference to a copy of the instructions.

“Information is distributed very quickly, and any careless answer, which specially trained people can skillfully“ divorce ”, then will extremely negatively affect the athlete,” the instructions said.

“Take carefully and attentive to what you write, what photos you upload, like likes or leave comments,” the authors of the memo write.

If the athlete is asked on a political topic, you can answer: “No comment”, the instructions say.

It is recommended to answer questions about the Crimea and the Donbass that "the sport should remain outside the policy."

When asked about doping scandals, the Russian athlete must answer that he has nothing to say, since he never participated in such scandals, and the sanctions imposed against Russia for the use of doping should be commented on those who introduced them.

If the Olympic is asked a question about harassment, he should answer the following: “I have never encountered or have come across my career, but I know that such a problem exists in many countries.”

When asked about Black Lives Matter, it should be answered that the attitude to such a movement is a personal matter for everyone, but "the Olympiad in any case should not become a platform for any promotions and gestures."

The Olympic Games in Tokyo will be held from July 23 to August 8.
