The head of the traffic police department in the region and dozens of his subordinates in the case of the organization of the criminal community were detained in the Stavropol. This was announced by deputy Alexander Hinshtein.

“The special operation of the HUSB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the North Caucasus Federal District with the power support of the Russian Guard: in the morning, almost the entire top of the traffic police of the Stavropol Territory, led by the head of the department, Alexei Safonov, was detained,” Khinshtein said.

According to him, the detainees "is charged with the organization of a criminal community, receiving bribes, abuse, excess, etc.".
