Pussy Riot participant Alexander Sofeev left Russia due to "election" repressions

The Pussy Riot group, Alexander Sofeev, who was released after the next administrative arrest, left Russia. According to the “open media”, the supporter himself, after leaving the special receiver on Monday July 19, he was accompanied by four cars with police from the EC center all day (to combat extremism).

“Today, up to the airport parking for our car, there was surveillance of four cars, and after that, the EP employees continued to be silently watching me until the very departure zone. And if there is a choice between the excellent second specialist and rest on the sea coast, then I tend to choose the second option, ”Alexander Sofeev said before landing on the plane.

According to the activist, he does not consider himself a political emigrant and hopes that the unreasonable arrests of Pussy Riot participants will stop after the autumn elections to the State Duma. “I don’t intend to throw Russia forever - here is my house and my heart,” he emphasized.

Alexander Sofeev decided to go abroad after he was arrested for the second time for 15 days (this was the fourth arrest for him since May). “We discussed the current situation with friends and came to the conclusion that we were specifically left a certain temporary backlash before the next detention, making it clear that we would leave the country,” Sofeev explained. He is going to meet with the shareholder who has already left the Russian Federation Nika Nikulshina and go to Georgia.

Also, a member of the Pussy Riot group, director Anna Kuzminykh, announced her intention to leave Russia, after leaving the special projector. She and Sofeeva were arrested twice under the article on non -fulfillment of the requirements of the police.

On July 19, after the exit from the arrest, Russia was left by Pussy Riot Nick Nick Nikulshina and her lover, the artist Roman Durov. On the way to the airport, two cars “with the numbers of non -existent regions” were driving behind them, and at the airport itself, the drivers of these cars “accompanied” Nikulshin before registration for a flight, the shareholder said.

On July 3, 2021, Nikulshin was arrested for 15 days under an article on disobedience to the police. The administrative protocol stated that Nikulshina and the artist Roman Durov “expressed rough fragrant abuse” in a public place on July 2, did not show the police their documents and refused to go with the security forces to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Prior to this, the cornivator was detained on June 16 and subsequently arrested for 15 days. In total, from May, Sofeev and Nikulshin were arrested 4 times.
