Bryansk: verdict under Art. 280 Criminal Code

A 39-year-old resident of the Zhukovsky district was sentenced to a suspended sentence.

On July 30, 2021, it became known that in the Bryansk region a court found a 39-year-old resident of the Zhukovsky district guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public incitement to extremism on the Internet) and sentenced him to two years of suspended imprisonment with a two-year probationary period.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Bryansk Region, on September 3, 2019, a man posted a xenophobic comment on one of the social networks.
