
The Iraq civil aviation department suspended all passenger flights to Belarus. This was reported on its Facebook page.
The decision was made due to a difficult situation with illegal migrants on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border. Iraq Airways aircraft will fly from Baghdad to Minsk only in order to pick up the Iraqi back to their homeland.
Earlier, the Lithuanian authorities promised to pay 300 euros illegal migrants who would agree to voluntarily leave the country. This was stated on the air of the LRT radio head of the Department of Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania Evelina Gudzinskay.
Payment, according to her, will be made when landing a migrant on a plane flying from Lithuania. 300 euros illegal migrants will receive once.
