Neo-Nazi detained in Magnitogorsk

A weapon, neo-Nazi paraphernalia and a fascist uniform were confiscated from the young man.

In September 2021, in Magnitogorsk, FSB and Russian Guard officers detained a 26-year-old young man working as a security guard at the municipal enterprise of the mayor’s office, Magnitogorskinveststroy. During a search of his home, they found air pistols and a grenade. In addition to weapons, “handwritten sources with information on carrying out terrorist acts", the fascist form and the Nazi paraphernalia.

According to the investigative committee, in April 2021, “the suspect posted statements on the Internet that encourage people to take actions related to with violent change of power and harm to employees law enforcement agencies. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public appeals to carry out terrorist activities).
