Detentions of supporters of the “Union of Slavic Forces of Rus'”

According to media reports, at least six people were detained.

On September 22, 2021, it became known that at least six supporters of the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' were detained in Ulan-Ude and Bryansk.

According to media reports, the detainees “organized the activities of the USSR” after the movement was recognized as extremist, namely, “rented a room in Bryansk, where they held meetings and discussed issues related to the seizure of power on the territory of the Russian Federation, and recruited new participants into their ranks.”

Probably, the detentions took place as part of the investigation of the case under Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization).

Recall that on July 15, 2019, the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic recognized the Union of Slavic Forces of Russia as an extremist organization. We wrote more about this association here .
