Ekaterina Muranova, an anarchist from Medvezhyegorsk (Karelia), was excluded from the Rosfinmonitoring list of extremists and terrorists. This was reported by the publication Sever.Realii.
Muranova was added to the relevant register due to the fact that a criminal case was opened against her under the article on justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). In 2019, the court found her guilty and imposed a fine of 350 thousand rubles. The anarchist was subjected to criminal prosecution because of a post on VKontakte about Mikhail Zhlobitsky, an activist who blew himself up in the FSB building.
According to investigators, on November 2, 2018, Muranova, “sharing the ideology of anarchism, realizing the illegal nature and social danger of her actions, having the criminal intent to justify terrorism to an unlimited number of Internet users,” published a comment in a group on VKontakte, as well as a post on your page. The materials were dedicated to Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who committed an explosion at the FSB building.
Muranova did not deny that she wrote this comment, but she does not consider it a justification for terrorism.
