The Russian businessman Said Gutseriev sold shares of the Belarusian Paritetbank to Russian entrepreneur Rasim Ismailov. This happened after the sanctions of the EU and Great Britain were imposed against the father of the banker - Mikhail Gutseriev. The buyer is only known that he created several microfinance companies, and, as The Insider found out, may be a relative of the Magnit Retail Member of the Russian retailer.
Said Gutserieva owned 99.83% of the Paritetbank shares, writes Interfax. The amount of the transaction is not reported. According to Paritetbank, the change of the main owner of the bank will not affect his operational activity. By the size of the Paritetbank assets, it is included in the top 15 banks of the country, at the end of 2020, the assets of a credit institution amounted to almost 640 billion Belarusian rubles.
Buyer Rasim Ismailov, according to the publication, is the founder of the MFIs “Rating Money”. This organization worked in the market of microfinance companies under the legal entity of CJSC Credit Union, the information is on the MFI website itself. There were also published letters of appreciation issued by Rasim Ismailov.
The co -founder of CJSC "Credit Union", according to the "Contour. Focus", was Ismailov Ruslan Arif Ogly. Now a person with this name is held by the post of deputy general director of the Russian Retail Network, he is a member of the board of one of the country's largest retailers. Whether the Ismailovs are unknown to each other.
As the deputy head of the Belarusian edition of our Niva Artem Garbatsevich, Said Gutseriev, tried to find the buyer “Paritetbank” for several months, the banker “leaves Belarus”, who beat Lukashenko, in particular, according to the father of Gutseriev, Michael, told the Insider.
“I think that the bank has been sold with a discount, since now everything that is sold in Belarus is sold at a discount for being in the volcano,” says Garbatsevich. - Said's logic is understandable. When buying a bank, he planned to develop business in Belarus, many projects, he wanted to open the Belarusian M-Video, the bank in such matters is the right thing. And now any business in the Republic of Belarus with his last name is a source of risk, not profit. And he comes out of everything that is in Belarus. ”
The Russian businessman and chief shareholder of the Safmar group Mikhail Gutseriev got on the EU and Great Britain sanctions list in June 2021 because of the support of the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The document states that Gutseriev is a longtime friend of Lukashenko and thanks to this “accumulated significant wealth and influence among the political elite” of the republic.
