Khakassia: verdict under Art. 354.1 CC
The 22-year-old prisoner was sentenced to an additional six months in prison.
On October 20, 2021, it became known that in Khakassia, a court found a 22-year-old prisoner guilty under Part 1 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (public denial or justification of the crimes established by the Nuremberg Tribunal) and sentenced him to six months in prison. Taking into account the unserved part of the sentence under the previous sentence, the young man was sentenced to three years in a general regime colony.
According to the report of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Khakassia, from January to February 2021, the prisoner repeatedly publicly convinced other convicts “of the correctness of the actions of the Nazis”, approved Nazism as an ideology, spoke positively about actions aimed at the destruction of representatives of various ethnic and social groups “with the exception of Russians and the Germans", voiced "sophisticated methods of violence" and convinced the prisoners of the correctness of the policy of racial discrimination in Nazi Germany. He also denied the guilt of the leaders of Nazi Germany in the crimes committed.
