Five doctors were detained in St. Petersburg, who made fictitious vaccines from coronavirus for bribes

In St. Petersburg, the police detained a doctor and four nurses who organized a fictitious vaccination point from Covid-19 in a clinic at the first St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician I.P. According to the investigation version, doctors for money filled out documents that a person was vaccinated from coronavirus. “After the execution of fictitious vaccination, the unused drug was destroyed, after which all the necessary documents for patients were filled. At the same time, information about vaccination, as expected, was reflected in the electronic service of the State Service, ”the Ministry of Internal Affairs says .

According to the SK, the doctors received from 12 people a bribe totaling at least 100 thousand rubles. According to Fontanka, for one certificate, employees of the clinic took 7.5 thousand rubles each and received about 300 thousand rubles in total.

Investigators opened a criminal case against doctors under Part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe). They may face imprisonment for a period of seven to twelve years.
