
The judge of the Leninsky District Court Anastasia Rastyevich decided to recover from the supporters of the leader of the opposition Alexei Navalny 460 thousand rubles as a compensation for the work of the police for the protest on January 23. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Omsk Civil Association".
The defendants in the lawsuit filed by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in May were Olga Kartavtseva, Daniil Chebykin, Roman King and Vitaliy Shipitsin.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded to recover more than 450 thousand rubles from them, which the police allegedly additionally spent on the police officers for work on the weekend and gasoline for official vehicles. On January 23, 24 people were detained in Omsk.
In October, the court collected from Daniil Chebykin and another activist Nikita Konstantinov 1.6 million rubles as compensation for the work of the police for shares on January 31. Then Chebykin was considered one of the organizers of the rally in support of Navalny.
Similar decisions were made by the courts of other regions. In August, the Penza court recovered 550 thousand rubles from three supporters of Navalny as compensation for the work of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on a day off on January 23 for protest shares.
The security forces also filed claims against the opposition due to overtime work in the Kirov , Novosibirsk , Yaroslavl , Chelyabinsk and Kemerovo regions, as well as in Bashkiria. Only Novosibirsk police put forward two claims totaling more than 5.8 million rubles. Among the nine defendants in these claims were deputies of the Novosibirsk City Council Sergey Boyko and Anton Kartavin.
On January 23 and 31, as well as on February 2 throughout Russia, shares were held in support of the arrested opposition politician Alexei Navalny. The authorities immediately responded to protests with large -scale repressions, including searches, mass administrative arrests. In total, in connection with the shares in support of Navalny, more than 11 thousand people were detained. In Moscow alone, over 1250 people underwent administrative arrest for participating in protests. About 90 criminal cases were also instituted: on attacks on security forces, hooliganism, damage to property, overlap of roads, violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules and involving minors in illegal actions.
In June, the Moscow City Court was recognized by the Corruption Fund (FBK), the Fund for Protection of the Rights of Citizens and the headquarters of Alexei Navalny with extremist organizations. A law was also adopted that prohibits the work involved in the work of extremist organizations to participate in the elections.
