The aggravation of suspicion and even hatred of the “persons of the wrong nationality” in the Media-Spaces controlled in the last weeks is surprising even after everything that we saw earlier. All this looks too caricatured and poster, the corrupt authority regime began to slowly slowly set its citizens on the next "strangers". In the classical scheme, chauvinism and xenophobia lie in the foundation of such regimes, and in our case, the already formed and long -existing authoritarian regime suddenly decided to rely on household xenophobia on the third ten of its existence. Why would it?
The most rational and therefore sedative explanation is the preparation of society for the tightening of a policy in the field of registration of citizens and monitoring them. The fact that the authorities will strengthen control over citizens, of course, especially since this has already been happening in recent years. But is it really necessary to increase xenophobia to tighten the registration policy? In recent years, many tightening of legislation in recent years have been introduced without special preparation and any serious reasons, and it is completely incomprehensible why some special training may now be needed. Even if tightening the control regime for citizens occurs, it is hardly worth considering the main goal of the Xenophobic campaign. Xenophobia is a too explosive topic for a multinational country to use it for such a nonsense. Why does the Russian government step on this thin ice?
Xenophobia in a political sense is useful for any power as a factor in the mobilization of the local population, its rallying around even a plain, but their authorities against strangers. Whatever political, social and economic claims a citizen does not have to officials and police, in the event of an exacerbation of interethnic contradictions, he is inclined to seek protection from them. Here, of course, the question arises: are the authorities are not afraid to get the opposite effect in case of their inefficiency and the inability to resolve the conflicts that have arisen? In the sense that, having discovered their complete inability to solve the problem of interethnic relations for universal pleasure, it is the authorities that will turn out to be extreme and lose the remnants of popularity and legitimacy?
Apparently, in this direction, no one is particularly thinking that, however, it is not surprising: some influential and capable of becoming a point of alternative consolidation public power should accuse the power of inefficiency. In Russia, the political space is cleaned in such a way that only the characters are entitled to publicly perform with Xenophobic sermons and calls for the ethnic world, often the same. As a result, we have the notorious polemic of Margarita Simonyan with Ramzan Kadyrov , during which each participant took several positions at once, often directly contradicting each other.
And this is not an accident, but the natural development of Putinism. The Russian authorities, crowned with an irremovable leader, itself wants to be everything - both the only possible refuge of nationalists, and the hope of fighters with nationalists. The many -sided Putin wants to remain an icon for those suffering from ethnic crime (and in fact - from the inefficiency of the police) of citizens, and for ethnic minorities, which should see in him and only in him a guarantee of his calm life in Russia. The task looks like ambitious, but quite feasible for propaganda.
