A resident of the Kurgan region received a year and a half on probation for xenophobic publications on social networks and possession of marijuana.
The Shchuchansky District Court of the Kurgan Region issued a guilty verdict on a 50-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activity), part 2 of Art. 228 Criminal Code (illegal storage, production drugs on a large scale). This was reported to the FSB on November 12, 2021.
The court sentenced a resident of the Kurgan region to a suspended sentence.
According to the FSB, the defendant posted texts on his page on the social network VKontakte, in which the linguistic forensic examination saw "calls for hostile and violent activities against persons on the basis of nationality." During the operational-search activities, 228 grams of marijuana, which he collected and dried, were confiscated from him.
