Earlier, we already wrote about an unauthorized protest, which was held on Sunday in Alexandrov. Local residents and activists of the public association “People’s Patrol” demanded to cancel “coronavirus” restrictions introduced throughout the country. The rally participants recorded appeals to President Vladimir Putin and deputies of the regional parliament.
Protesters asked the head of state to suppress the alleged actions of the regional authorities and restore order in the field of healthcare, and deputies of the Legislative Assembly - not to vote in support of the bill, which will oblige citizens to provide a certificate of vaccination in public places.
The very next day after the event, on Monday, a local resident Yuri Saenko was detained. A case of an administrative offense under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (organization or holding a public event without submitting a notification). The supporters of the activist reported this on social networks.
Judging by the information published on the official website of the Alexander City Court, the case will be considered on December 7 at 15:30. The protocol went to court on Monday, but the materials returned to revision. One of the meetings was also postponed in connection with the non -appearance of the participants in the process.
The activist faces an administrative fine of twenty to thirty thousand rubles, mandatory work or arrest for up to ten days.
