In Dagestan, a sentence was passed under Art. 280 Criminal Code

A resident of the village of Kug received a year of probation for the publication of VKontakte.

At the end of November 2021, the Kirovsky District Court of Makhachkala found the native of the village of Kug guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).

According to the materials of the case, in early 2021, the convict posted extremist materials on the VKontakte social network. He fully admitted his guilt.

The court sentenced him to imprisonment for a period of one year conditionally, with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of sites using electronic or information and telecommunication networks, including on the Internet for a period of one year.
