The Zyuzinsky court of Moscow recognized the performer Alexei Uzenyuk, known as Elja, guilty of an administrative article on drug promotion and sentenced the rapper to a fine of 100 thousand rubles, Baza reports .
Before Eljay, cases of the same administrative offense against journalist Yuri Dudia and performer Alisher Morgenstern were instituted. They were also fined 100 thousand rubles.
The reason for checking Eljay was a complaint from the safe Internet league, headed by Ekaterina Mizulina. In June, the organization turned to the police and asked to study the work of the rapper "in connection with the frank propaganda of drugs in one of the video clips."
The rapper did not appear at the court hearing. According to media reports, he is now in Cyprus.
Morgenstern also left Russia. This happened after the head of the IC of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, accused the rapper of drug trafficking on social networks.
