There was an attack in Moscow. Murad Hovhannisyan stabbed doctor Jamal Odilov several times.
On December 13, 2021, in Moscow, Murad Oganesyan (born 1961) broke into one of the private dental clinics and hit doctor Jamal Odilov several times.
The victim received severe injury. The attacker was arrested by a police officer. On December 15, Murad Hovhannisyan was arrested.
"According to preliminary reported that the attacker was dissatisfied with the result of the treatment and stabbed dentist injury. By to the decision of the Babushkinsky prosecutor, conducting an audit, accepting procedural decision and assessment on the fact of attempted murder entrusted to the territorial body of the metropolitan administration of the UK", - reported in prosecutor's office.

According to some media reports, the head of the clinic stated that "during the night interrogation, the investigator asked Hovhannisyan about the reasons attacks, to which he replied: “I thought he was Azerbaijani.” This is also stated in the message of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, distributed on December 16, the detainee said during interrogation that he wanted to kill Odilov “because of his nationality.”

"As an ombudsman, I strongly condemn the crimes committed against Azerbaijanis as a result of Armenia's policy of hatred, I call on the leadership of Armenia to refrain from actions that incite ethnic hatred, threaten peace and human rights in the region," the statement says.
