"USSR citizen" detained
A citizen of the USSR was detained for using violence against a government official.
On December 18, 2021, law enforcement officers detained a 55-year-old activist of "citizens of the USSR" Svetlana Rybchenko from the village of Zaterechny, Neftekumsky district, Stavropol Territory. A criminal case was initiated against her on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities.
A search was carried out in Rybchenko's house. In November, she already had a search, during which a computer, telephone, and notes were seized. Rybchenko was sent to the temporary detention center of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Levokumsky district of the region.
The criminal case against Rybchenko was initiated in August 2021. Her house was disconnected from utility resources, and she argued that these actions were illegal. The police arrived at the scene and used force against her.
