The correspondent of the Garlic online publication Sofia Lyotka asked the head of the city the actual question regarding the plans of officials to increase the cost of public transport at night. Last week, the Department of Prices and Tariffs of the Regional Administration reported that such an application was received from the city hall.

“According to the regional center, in which the most issues are planned in four price rates: a day tariff - a night tariff and depending on the payment method these days - this is a story with payment for the passage for cash and for non -cash payment. The tariff campaign against the regional center is not completed. There is an understanding that by the payment method, cash payment will cost more, cashless payments are cheaper. Naturally, the night tariff will also cost more ",

- said the director of the department Maria Novoselova.

In response to the question of the journalist, Andrei Shokhin explained that the city hall does not plan to run new routes at night at night. The fare, according to the city manager, is likely to rise at night already along the available routes.

It is worth noting that carriers persistently ask to raise the price of tickets for a long time. This kind of proposal was announced back in August, during a round table on the state of public transport. Thus, the officials, apparently, decided to go to the meeting, and at the same time stimulate the release of additional buses and trolleybuses on the flight.

That's just for implementation, of course, questions arise. Companies that are engaged in passenger transportation, obviously, need to increase the cost of fare at watch hours. The evening time, when units are used by city transport, is little interesting for them. After the implementation of the plans of the authorities for citizens, in addition to new costs, it is unlikely that something will change.

Apparently, carriers will completely arrange a scheme: to take more money from people with the same graphics. No motivation to let new routes and spend money on new rates for drivers and conductors after the implementation of the initiative will not have transport enterprises. As a result, the problem of long -standing buses will not disappear anywhere, but the Vladimir will have to pay more for travel.
