
A deputy of the Vladimir Legislative Assembly became the only major politician who, in a word and a deed, supported the supporters of Alexei Navalny, detained during the January protests.
Maxim Shevchenko, a journalist known at the federal level, in November from whom everyone expected to withdate the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, retained the mandate and continued to work for the benefit of voters. In the end of December, in the author’s column on the portal of the Internet publication “Resonance”, the politician summed up some results of his work in the past year.
According to Maxim Shevchenko, in the 2021st year he received a total of forty appeals from the residents of the region. Based on them, in the interests of voters, he sent 56 deputy requests to the prosecutor's office, regional and district administrations, as well as to other state and municipal bodies and departments.
Maxim Shevchenko recalls that after rallies in support of Alexei Navalny in Vladimir, the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Communist Party in the Parliament under his leadership became the only country in the country demanding that all detained activists and investigate the actions of the security forces for the rule of law. We recall the protesters, people in civilian clothes, who did not want to submit and present documents, stated in autozaki.
“Together with the deputies Anton Klyuyev and Shamil Khabibullin, I came to the special receiver, achieving admission to the detainees. In two cases of administrative offenses, I was a defender. My assistant Kirill Alekseev was among the detainees and spent two days in the special receiver.
On my instruction, Kirill Alekseev carried out legal assistance to the persecuted. In five cases, he was a defender in the court of first instance. He also prepared 47 complaints to the participants in these rallies so that fines appointed by district courts could be paid for them, and so that in the future there was an opportunity to appeal judicial decisions in the European Court of Human Rights ”

In the regional parliament, Maxim Shevchenko focused on the issues of social security and development of transport infrastructure. He insisted on the increase for large families for compensation for compensation for utility bills, the introduction of a single travel ticket in the region, and the establishment of additional social support measures for workers of the rear during the Great Patriotic War.
As a member of the parliamentary committee on agrarian issues, nature management and ecology, Maxim Shevchenko raised the issue of depriving LLC Khartia with the status of a regional operator to handle solid utilities and assisted the residents of Alexandrov, fighting for the reclamation of a city landfill, to which Moscow garbage was reduced by tons.
