The Ministry of Justice has introduced eight more to foreign agents.
The writer Viktor Shenderovich, publicist Marat Gelman, activist Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, activist Veronika Nikulshina, the chief of the publication “Kholod” Taisiya Bekbulatova, journalist Ivan Belyaev, journalist Elena Vladykin and general director of the Kinoconkluba “Oil, Andrei Alekseev, got into the new list.
Viktor Shenderovich called his inclusion in the register of media-foreigners an attempt to squeeze him out of the country.
“It is clear that this is some final chord. They squeeze out of the country, they force them to run, they make them hide. They may succeed in this, it is not a matter of me in this case, but the fact is that all this is completely deformed symptoms, however, nothing new. The first to congratulate me was Lev Ponomarev*, who was the first of individuals to be a foreign agent. I am in a very pretty, of course, row. But all this irony does not completely abolish the monstrous angle of inclination, at which everything moves in our country, ”Schenderovich said on the air of“ Echo of Moscow ”.
Veronika Nultina, in a conversation with The Insider, called the inclusion in the register "the criminal intention of the Russian government in an attempt to silence people."
“After this summer 10 people in a civilian from the EE center pulled me out of the village of novelty to write a fake administrative business, I was already so full (like going to the river, that I am not waiting for anything, but generally ready for everything. If not ironic, then everything is quite terrible, because the law on foreign agents is a demonic attempt by Russian power to put the marker on all the good and the beautiful that remains in this one. The country, to put a mark on people who think lightly and opposition.
I am confused by the relative how to put these endless dies on each tweet, meme and photograph. As a citizen of my country and just as a person I do not want to submit a certificate to the Ministry of Justice, but I will do it and will appeal this decision. This is the criminal intention of the Russian government in an attempt to silence people who believe that things should not be what they are now in our country.
I hoped that having expelled me before the New Year, I would not send any surprises, but the New Year is an important Russian holiday, and therefore, as part of the Russian people, I would experience the pains of my country. I’m anxious and scary, but even being in Georgia, I will continue to fight the madness that is happening in Russia and, apparently, is not going to end, ”said Nilkhina.
Nadezhda Tolokonnikova reported that she would not label her content.
