Spotify began to implement the Law "On Landing"

The Swedish company Spotify AB opened a personal account on the website of Roskomnadzor in accordance with the requirements of the Law on "Landing" of foreign Internet companies. It is reported by Interfax.

Spotify became the fifth company, which proceeds to fulfill the requirements of the law, which is called the Law "On landing" of foreign companies. In total, such companies, which are included in the Roskomnazdor in a special register, 13.

Earlier, their personal rooms on the RKN website, as well as forms for citizens' circulation, created Apple and Likee companies. At the same time, Tiktok and Viber were fulfilled: Tiktok posted on the website for calls, and Viber created a personal account.

As The Insider wrote , the Law “On Landing”, according to experts, is an instrument of pressure on foreign corporations, and the opening of a personal account on the RKN website indicates a readiness for more active interaction with the authorities and the likelihood of obtaining even more data on Russian users.
