A verdict was passed under Art. 280 Criminal Code

A resident of the Smolensk region was sentenced to two years probation for blog posts calling for attacks on Jews and Anglo-Saxons.

On January 21, 2022, the Vyazemsky District Court of the Smolensk Region delivered a verdict in a criminal case under Part 2 Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities). A 32-year-old resident of the Vyazemsky district was sentenced to two years of probation.

The case was filed Investigation Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Smolensk Region.

According to the case file, the defendant in blogs and groups of social networks " called for the use of force against persons of Jewish nationality and representatives of the Anglo-Saxon peoples ."

Previously, he was convicted of death threats and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim. Sources
