Yegor Krasnov was arrested in absentia

On February 14, 2022, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the founder of the neo-Nazi group M.K.U Yegor Krasnov (nicknames: “Zon”, “Manyak”, “German”), born in 2000, on charges of murdering two or more people.

The court granted the petition of the investigation and elected Krasnova, accused under paragraph "a" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of two or more persons), a measure of restraint in the form of arrest in absentia for a period of two months from the moment of his detention or extradition to the Russian Federation.

According to media reports, Krasnov is in the Dnipro pre-trial detention center due to accusations from local law enforcement agencies.

Krasnov, according to the court, was put on the international wanted list. Let us recall that M.K.U. ("Maniacs: Killing Cult") - an organization with neo-Nazi and People Hater rhetoric, which, according to law enforcement agencies was created by a citizen of Ukraine Egor Krasnov, who uses Internet pseudonym Egor Yakovlev.

In 2021, the police and the FSB repeatedly stated in the detentions of members of the M.C.U. in different regions of the country. In February, the detention of M.C.U. members was reported. in Voronezh, in March in Gelendzhik, Yaroslavl ; in April - in Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Saratov, Tambov, Tyumen, Chita, Anapa, Pushchino Moscow region, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl region ; in July - in Belgorod ; in December - in the Penza region (five people) and the Komi Republic (eight people) . Some CVBs claim that the FSB considers members of the M.C.U. involved in explosions in the Voronezh region.
