The psychological and psychiatric community of Russia opposed the war, in less than a day, more than 1000 people signed a collective letter. The Insider provides a full text of treatment.

“We, the psychological and psychiatric community of Russia, advocate for the immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine.

War is a concentration of all destructive, which can act on the human psyche. The total lack of security, unknown, violence, helplessness, loss of loved ones. This is an axiom not only for specialists engaged in mental health, but for all people living in our country and knowing its history.

The now -spreading pandemic of violence has already inflicted a deep wound to tens of millions of people. The collective injury of February 2022 will affect relations between countries and close people for many years. Already now we need tremendous efforts in order to restore the destroyed.
