The official visit of the head of the Duma to Nicaragua and Cuba took place from February 23 to 24. According to TASS, the plane was supposed to arrive in Vnukovo-2 by 17:30 Moscow time, but landed 45 minutes later.

During the flight, the board was forced to change the course several times in a row, as a result, the crew chose the route through the north and still was able to deliver the head of the parliament with the Duma delegation to his homeland.

Earlier, a number of countries closed their airspace for Russian aircraft due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine-these are Estonia, Great Britain, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Finland has not yet accepted such prohibitions. However, earlier the Prime Minister of this country Sanna Marin stated at a meeting of the parliament that the country was ready to apply for an entry into NATO, under certain conditions, despite the fact that its state in the entire history of the alliance has adhered to a policy of non-alignment and neutrality.

In response to this statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry has already sentenced the Finns with the “military-political” consequences of such a step.
