The second day I go under the impression of a conversation with my friend. We talked about what will happen later, after the war, after Putin, how Ukrainians would treat us. And I said that over time, I hope the pain will subside and gradually ... And then she said: "But not in our life." The idea that my generation may not wait for reconciliation with the Ukrainians did not occur to me. I just didn’t think about it, but now I can’t discard this thought.
It took almost a quarter of a century and the collapse of the USSR so that the Czechs cease to turn away when they hear Russian speech. And I am sure that they are now boiling in them again when they see that the Russian army is creating in Ukraine. But when the occupation of Czechoslovakia happened, I was 12 years old, and when warming began - 34. Now I am 65. And I believe that Putin has committed a crime - both in relation to me and in relation to all sane people in Russia, who oppose the war.
I do not know what Putin read, sitting for two years in the bunker. In my opinion, he read Main Campf. Was he wanted to understand how, defeated in the 1914-1918 war, Germany got up from his knees, did he admire Hitler’s lie and his propaganda machine, whether his pride tickled, how short-sighted everyone was bending under the Fuhrer in 1938 in Munich, “if only there was no war”, whether he adapted to his needs “solving the problem”. Symbolically starting to bomb Ukraine early in the morning and entering there as an occupier, he defiantly repeated the actions of the Nazis and could not help but understand what this is and that the world would perceive this that way.
The world turned out to be different, no one bent. Things are named by their proper shows: war - war, an attempt to occupy - an attempt by occupation, a terrorist - a terrorist, a crime - a crime. Putin does not have a way out of the bunker, and ahead of him will be punished. What awaits us? In the future - a painful process of deputyization. In the present - resistance, individual and collective, from the part of all those who have not washed the brains. There are things that will not do any world for us.
In Russia, unfortunately, there is no person who can come to Putin, sit on the other side of the long table, look from a distance of 20 meters into his eyes and say: "You have committed a crime against Ukraine. You committed a crime against Russia. You intimidate the world of disaster. You give criminal orders. You are a criminal, and you must leave." Unlike many of my friends who openly appeal to the elite - Alexei Kudrin, Anatoly Chubais, businessmen, I will not do this. This war is visual, each of its episode is recorded, if not an operator, then by phone or sound. It is impossible not to see and not hear this. You can not want to see it. So, those who are silent do not want to see it. They are cowards and accomplices. Children - children go out into the streets with protest! - In which this war is taking the present and future. They are hundreds of wins and taken away in auto -zaks. Those who are silent today, like those who lie, will never be accepted by this young generation and will never be able to make excuses to their children and grandchildren. They will end at the same time who are more afraid of more than war.
In history, there is always the “one that did not shoot”, the one who did not raise his hand in the greeting of the leader, the one who stood unarmed against the tank, and the one who was not afraid to tell the truth to the dragon. I know that the Ukrainians won. This is the third and last defeat of Putin in Ukraine. Behind Ukrainians and with them the whole world. The President of Ukraine in a few days of the war has grown into a dramatic figure. Russia has no strength to control the 40 millionth country, the resistance of Ukrainians is guaranteed. The first dead civilian, woman, a child turned the Russian military into a terrorist group.
Putin committed a crime, including against Russian soldiers. He crossed Rubicon, leaving himself a single chance in the future. Together with him, this Rubicon crossed all those who were shaking with fear, stabbing and meaninglessly nodding actors of the inner circle and their mercenaries of the second row. Every day of the war multiplies their crimes.
This war had no reason and there was no reason. Having created a curved reality in 20 years, which has been translated every minute by state of state, the authors of this invented universe themselves got involved and began to live in it, believing that this was a real reality. It turned out to be a trap. Adherents of war or cynically lie, understanding perfectly well that there are no neo -Nazis in Ukraine and not to free it from, but in fact they just want to capture someone else's country, or, more than likely, they really believe in the whole fake that they themselves have been driving from each of them from the iron. That is why it was so easy to convince Generalissimo in Blitzkrig, of the relics of the reformed army, that the Ukrainians are suppressed by the Nazis and are waiting for Russian liberators. That is why, outside this curved reality, that is, for the whole world, the actions and words of Moscow look like a dangerous nonsense nonsense, from which everything can be expected.
What would we do if we realized that he would bomb Kyiv?
Every Russian with brains and heart, wherever he lives, asks himself at least internally the question: whether he is to blame/she/they in what is happening today. Many people want to believe that collective responsibility is incorrect, because we did not vote for Putin, caught the beatings on manipulations, went to protests and generally somehow resisted. But this regime has existed for 22 years. And many of us for some time were quite comfortable and tasty, and so good to hang out, and buy beautiful cars and clothes. Then we planted one of our friends, we worried, but life continued, and someone was killed, and we mourned, and a month later, we posted photos from the sea. Behind the country rather rare on the country's scale, the exceptions of people who are consistently resisting the regime paying a high price for this, we lived in the proposed conditions, engaged in our own, sometimes very important and necessary matters. The theory of small deeds has become ours. We said to ourselves that this is all that we can help a specific person, a specific misfortune, a specific patient, a specific homeless person. We lived not for a year, not five, but 22 years, understanding and watching the dragon format the country for itself, returns the worst stereotypes of the scoop, turns the population into zombies, revives fear, propaganda, violence, kills justice. The thought even about the "color revolution" did not seem acceptable for most of those who were ready to go outside against dishonest elections.
We lived with him for 22 years. We could not imagine that he would bomb Kyiv. You know how many times these days I asked myself the question: what if they could? What would we do if we realized that he would bomb Kyiv?
It tends to feel my guilt, and life taught me that it is right. Of course, I am to blame for the Ukrainians already because I have a Russian passport in my pocket, and Russian missiles shoot at the residential quarters of Kharkov, according to the maternity hospital, on the woman’s tier and kill people. How was it to blame for the Czechs when a Soviet passport was lying in my pocket. I feel guilty before every mother, losing my child in this war, on both sides, because I also have a child. I do not know what forces and means to stop the person who unleashed this nightmare. Everyone loves to remember an episode about the rat , told by Putin. The rat cannot be driven into a corner, because it can pounce on you, then you will have to run away from it. Not necessarily, there are options, the rat can be stopped by force.
