The court fined 45 thousand rubles of a resident of Tomsk Stanislav Karmaksky, who was present at shares against the war in Ukraine. Tomich did not shout the slogans and did not hold the poster in his hands, but the court also considered his silence a form of protest, writes OVD-Info.
According to the case materials, Karmaksky took part in a rally, the purpose of which was to “form a negative opinion of others and the population of the city of Tomsk regarding the special military operation of the armed military forces of the Russian Federation”. The court decision states that the Karmaksky was near the venue of the group picket and expressed “silent support” to its “illegal goals”.
