A resident of Kazan was sentenced to serving in a colony-settlement.

At the end of March 2022, a sentence was passed in Kazan under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).

According to the materials of the case, a resident of Kazan posted in one of the social networks "to a number of publications in the communities" some texts "containing calls for extremist activity."

He was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 2.5 years to be served in a colony-settlement. Sources
