Pupils of 89 schools of the Tver region began a new week with raising the flag and execution of the anthem of Russia. This was reported by the government of the region on its official VKontakte page.

Now schoolchildren will start like this every school week. The shots published by the government show how teenagers in the form raise the flag of Russia in the square near the school.

“The initiative to introduce a weekly tradition was approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Today, the patriotic action was first held in 89 schools in the region. One of the institutions was the education center named after Alexander Atrian in Tver, ”the report said.

Earlier, Putin supported the idea of ​​raising a flag and execution of the anthem in schools at the beginning of the school week. The proposal was made by Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, various patriotic history lessons have been held in Russian schools. On February 28, teachers received manuals in which the need for a “military operation” against the “fascist state” is justified. In the materials for lessons to questions of schoolchildren, ready -made answers in a propaganda manner are offered. For teachers themselves, the preparatory work is carried out by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. From teachers they demand to explain to students that Russia is saving Ukraine from genocide and that you cannot believe the videos about the deceased civilian population.
