The court in Moscow arrested for 15 days 24-year-old Roman Sakharov, who broke the cardboard figure of his grandmother with the Soviet flag at the entrance to the dental clinic, writes Varlamov News. Sakharov was found guilty of discrediting the Russian army.

He was also a fine of 50 thousand rubles, Interfax reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the published video, Sakharov says that "he made the biggest mistake in his life" and "broke the symbol of present -day Russia." According to the Muscovite, he was very drunk and now he was ashamed of his act. Sakharov assured that he does not share “Nazi and anti -Russian” views. He promised to compensate for the damage.

“I did not know that I was defiled. I just hit some cardboard. I did not want to desecrate some honor, someone, something. For what?" - Sakharov explained in a video published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to police officers, Sakharov ruined the installation on the night of April 23. His actions recorded video surveillance cameras. The friends of Sakharov, who were next to him that night, were also taken to the police department. They were held accountable for petty hooliganism and arrested for 6 days.

In early April, a video with a grandmother appeared, who came to the Ukrainian military with a banner of victory. She thought that the Russian military entered the village. “We were waiting for you and prayed for you, and for Putin, and for all the people,” said the pensioner. One of the military, passing the products to her, began to trample the Soviet flag. After that, the grandmother refused the products.

In a number of Russian cities, banners and wall drawings with a grandmother carrying a red flag appeared. The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin promised that the image with her would be applied to the case of one of the missiles. And the Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev said that in Voronezh, the sculptures of the “Znamenosets” grandmother will install sculptures on Victory Day.
