
Belarusian human rights activists replenished the list of political prisoners of another 30 names of oppositionists. Half of them were prosecuted for insulting Alexander Lukashenko (Article 368 of the Criminal Code) and other officials (Article 369 of the Criminal Code). So, Yuri Tereshkevich received 2 years in colony for insulting Lukashenko, Andrei Stepanenko - 1.5 years, Sergey Karpenya - 2 years of Liberty restrictions, Kirill Zhezhensky - 1 year and 1 month of the colony, the human rights center "Vesna" reports .
For insulting the representative of the authorities, Artem Leshnevsky was sentenced to 2.5 years of restriction of freedom, Andrei Lugin and Sergey Konovalov - to 2 years of restriction of freedom.
The same criminal articles were taken into custody: Alexander Kazakevich, Evgeny Galich, Anna Kiseleva, Marina Markevich, Victor Himoroda, Dmitry Zelenyak, Alexander Lavrentiev, Andrey Belyavsky.
Artem Kozlovsky was sentenced to restrict freedom for slander (Article 188 of the Criminal Code). Oleg Yakunin and Pavel Falkovsky received three months of arrest for the inscriptions, which they left on the walls of buildings and a stop. They were accused of desecrating structures and damage to property (Article 341 of the Criminal Code). The same article was arrested by Dmitry Matusevich.
Vyacheslav Shablinsky, who left the inscriptions on the bales of straw, was sentenced to restriction of freedom. He was charged with hooliganism (Article 339 of the Criminal Code).
Dmitry Pontelko, Jan Alekseychikov and Sergey Oleinikov were sentenced to 1 year of the colony for abuse of state symbols (Article 370 of the Criminal Code). For example, Pontelko posted on the VKontakte social network an image of a swastika against the backdrop of the state flag of Belarus. In the same article, Vyacheslav Lyutinsky was arrested.
Svetlana Savchenko also received 1 year of the colony, but on charges of hooliganism (Article 339 of the Criminal Code). She tore off the souvenir flag fixed on the car of a pro -government rally. In addition, Savchenko inflicted several strokes with a plastic flagpole on the car.
Irina Prigova was arrested for the spread of protest symbols, which was qualified as hooliganism and desecration of structures (Article 339 and Article 341 of the Criminal Code).
Alexei Khilkevich was detained on charges of obstructing the exercise of electoral rights or the work of election commissions (Article 191 of the Criminal Code). He sent letters to the referendum calling for officials to honestly fulfill his duties.
Salim Mammadov received three years of restriction of freedom for threats to the security forces (Article 364 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, he threatened the policeman on social networks. And Ilya Goncharik sent SMS to the local police inspector, for which he received 4 years of restrictions on freedom.
Vitaly Rogach was taken into custody of the "case of the potion". Recall that the 32-year-old employee of the American company EPAM Systems Andrei Zelzer died on September 28, 2021 in Minsk. The KGB officers in civilian clothes came to his house, who, according to the official version, of the anti -terrorist raid. They broke into the apartment in which Zelzer lived with his wife and little son. The programmer opened fire from the hunting rifle and mortally wounded the fighter of the alpha special forces Dmitry Fedosyuk. The KGB claims that Zelzer was killed by return fire. His wife was arrested. After the shootout, the investigators opened a criminal case on the “murder of a person in connection with the implementation of his official activity” (part 2 of article 139 of the Criminal Code).
In total, in Belarus there are already 1188 political prisoners.
