The author of the Telegram channel "Protest Moscow State University" Dmitry Ivanov is held suspect in the case of "fakes" about the Russian army. This was reported by the OVD-Info with reference to his lawyer.

Ivanov was delivered to the Main Investigative Department of the IC in Moscow from the special projector No. 2 in the volume, where he was serving 25 days of administrative arrest under the article on a repeated violation of the Procedure for holding the action.

On June 2, in the apartment of Ivanov’s parents, as well as another author of the “protest Moscow State University”, Julialava Korolevich and Sota employee Gleb Yakutov, searches were held. Mother and stepfather Ivanov were released after interrogation in the Investigative Committee, they also received the status of witnesses in the criminal case of "fakes" about the army. Lawyers were not allowed to interrogate parents.

On May 8, the Tver District Court of Moscow arrested Dmitry Ivanov for 25 days. He was found guilty under an article on a repeated violation of the action of the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). As reported by the OVD-Info, the reason was the repost about the war in Ukraine, which he made from the Telegram channel Alexei Navalny on March 4. For the first time, the activist was detained on April 28 at the exit of the university. He was charged with also part 8 tbsp. 20.2 Administrative Code. Due to the post in the Telegram channel, he was considered the organizer of the rally.

On March 16, unknown people wrote the door of the apartment of Dmitry Ivanov. Several letters Z and the inscription appeared on it: "Do not betray your homeland, Dima."
