Russia will fight with Ukraine until the shelling of the Donbass - Russian Permanent Representative in the UN Security Council

Russia began a “special operation” in Ukraine in order to “stop the shelling of Donbass Ukraine.” This was announced at a meeting of the Security Council of the UN by the Permanent Representative of Russia in the organization Dmitry Polyansky, writes TASS.

“We started a special military operation so that from the territory of this country, turned from the supply of Western countries into anti-Russia, as well as from its nationalist leadership, the threat of both Russia and the inhabitants of the south and southeast of Ukraine ceased to proceed. Until these goals are achieved, our operation will continue, ”said Polyansky.

He also added that, in his opinion, the supply of weapons Western countries "only extend the agony of the criminal Kyiv regime, ready to sacrifice their population."

Since the beginning of the war, the Russian authorities rarely explain its goals and the end of the end. President Vladimir Putin, announcing the beginning of the "special operation", said that it is needed for "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev claimed that the war has two goals: the protection of the inhabitants of the LDNR, as well as the destruction of the “militaristic machine” and “denazification” of these regions, so that “there are no nationalists who promote the absolutely anti -Russian, Russophobic course and try to push Russia and Ukraine”.
