Ivanovets was fined for the video “Let’s remember the Crooks and Thieves their Manifesto 2002”

For a video uploaded ten years ago, a resident of Ivanov was fined under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

On June 14, 2022, the Leninsky District Court fined Ivanov two and a half thousand rubles under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code Semyon Voropanov.

The reason was the fact that Voropanov published a video on VKontakte about ten years ago "Let's remember the Rogues and Thieves their Manifesto-2002".

This video was recognized as extremist by the Kirovsky District Court of Novosibirsk in 2013, along with several materials by Russian nationalists. The content of the video boils down to listing a number of United Russia's unfulfilled election promises from the party's draft 2002 manifesto and calling for voting for any party other than United Russia. We consider the ban of this video unreasonable, and cases of persecution for its distribution - unlawful.
