On the page of the deputy, law enforcement agencies found the symbols of Navalny's headquarters.
On July 2, 2022, it became known that in relation to the municipal deputy for The academic district of Moscow, Nodari Khananashvili, drew up a protocol on part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or demonstration symbols of extremist organizations). The case is expected to be heard in the Gagarinsky District Court on July 6.
The reason for the persecution was the repost of the image with the Easter an egg with the letter "H" superimposed on it - the symbolism of Navalny's headquarters, taken by Khananashvili in May 2021.
decision to ban headquarters of Navalny, the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) and the Foundation for the Protection of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) entered into force on August 4, 2021. On our view, legal grounds for banning Navalny’s organizations as there were no extremist and, accordingly, we consider unlawful persecution for displaying their symbols.
It should be noted that in recent weeks the protocols under Part. 1 st. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was drawn up in relation to several Muscovites, including municipal deputies and citizens who have declared their intention to participate in municipal elections. Recall that the persons prosecuted under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, are deprived of the right to be elected for a one-year term, counted from the moment execution of a decision on an administrative offense.
