And finally, the third and main component of the nuclear triad is ballistic missiles. As of October 1, 2016, Russia had 300 missile systems capable of carrying more than 1000 nuclear charges.

Without exaggeration, we can say that all the skepticism, which we expressed about the strategic bombers and even (partly) submarines, disappears completely when it comes to the ICBM.
