Protodeacon Kuraev fined for discrediting the RF Armed Forces
On August 23, 2022, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow attracted Protodeacon Andrei Kuraev to liability under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 Administrative Code (public actions aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation). The court fined him 30,000 rubles.
The reason for drawing up the protocol was the publication of Kuraev in his Telegram channel dated April 18, in which he spoke about the proximity of Russians and Ukrainians and about the state monopoly on violence. At the moment posting has been removed.
