The Moscow City Court sentenced the ex-journalist of Kommersant and the adviser to the head of Roscosmos Ivan Safronov by 22 years in a strict regime colony in the case of Gosizmen (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), a correspondent from the courtroom specially for the New Newspaper. Ivan Safronov has been in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center since July 2020. The journalist is accused of transferring data from the Czech intelligence: according to the power of the security forces, he allegedly transmitted information about military-technical cooperation, defense and security of Russia.
