The St. Petersburg branch of the Higher School of Economics “did not agree” with the further work with the sociologist, Lykesender Yasaveev. The sociologist associates this with the searches that took place on August 17, he and his colleagues from Idel. Real (the Radio Liberty project).

Yasaveev taught at the Higher School of Economics for the past two years remotely and carried out a scientific guidance of bachelors and master.

“Unfortunately, I will not teach yet. It is difficult not to see the direct connection between the searches of me and my colleagues in Kazan on August 17 and the refusal of the leadership of the St. Petersburg Campus HSE to sign documents about my reception, ”Yasaveev wrote on his Facebook page.

The security forces came to the apartment to Yasaveev in Kazan on the morning of August 17. He and his family members took mobile phones during the search. After the search, he was taken away for interrogation to the Investigative Committee. The publication was associated with a search with the columns of Yasaveev.

On the same day, in Kazan, searches were searched for six more journalists. Later it became known that investigative actions were associated with the criminal case "On the justification of terrorism and violence against representatives of the authorities."
