
The police asked to initiate a case of “fakes” against Ksenia Sobchak because of her interview with director Vitaliy Mansky, TASS writes with reference to a law enforcement source.

In early September, the Ministry of Internal Affairs put Mansky on the federal wanted list. Previously, Nikita Mikhalkov, who demanded to initiate a criminal case against the director under the article “Clever”, wrote a statement to him. The reason was the statement of Mansky about corruption at the Moscow International Film Festival (MMKF) Mikhalkov. According to Mansky, at least 85% of the budget is stealing at the MMKF.
“During the interrogation of Ksenia Sobchak, answering questions of the inquiry body about who posted and created false information, said that she was ready to answer for everything, since there are no resource administrators where the fake, editors or directors have this material. In this regard, the inquiry officers saw in the actions of the journalist the corpus delicti under Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public distribution of knowingly false information about the execution by the state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers”), ”writes TASS.
The punishment under this article implies a fine of 700 thousand to 1.5 million rubles or imprisonment for up to three years.
