The Federation Council early freed Alexei Kudrin from the post of head of the Accounts Chamber.

The day before, the Council of People's Commissars received the idea of ​​Vladimir Putin about the liberation of Alexei Kudrin from this position.

Kudrin confirmed the departure in his Telegram channel. He wrote that he had spent a total of about 25 years in the public sector and now wants to focus on large projects related to “the development in the broad sense of private initiatives” and having “significant effects for people”.

Earlier, the media, citing sources, reported that Kudrin would go to work at Yandex. According to RIA Novosti, the chairman of the Council of Council Valentina Matvienko indirectly confirmed this: she expressed the hope that the statements of the Federation Council will now more often fall into the top of the search engine.
