Iran recognized the death of 200 people during protests and asked Russia to help suppress the uprising

Iran turned to Russia for help in suppressing the popular uprising and asked to provide equipment to combat protests, as well as direct advisers to study. The Iran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also officially recognized the death of 200 citizens during protests, but the data diverge from the information provided by human rights activists (about 460 dead).

According to the channel, the Iranian regime is preparing for a long -term confrontation with protesters and concerned about limited resources in manpower and technology. In October, the press secretary of the White House Karin Jean-Pierre has already stated that Moscow could help the Islamic Republic, based on its own experience of suppressing demonstrations. In response, Iran continues to supply weapons of the Russian Federation for the war with Ukraine.

“Evidence that Iran helps Russia to unleash the war against Ukraine is obvious and publicly available. The more isolated countries become, the closer they become. Our message to Iran is very, very clear: stop killing your people and stop sending weapons to Russia to kill Ukrainians. ”

Then the official representative of the Pentagon John Kirby said that the White House is sure that Russia helps Iran in suppressing protests: “We know that they can consider the possibility of some kind of Iranian support with protesters. And, unfortunately, Russia has experience in this. ” According to him, this is another example of how Russia and Iran are now working together, violating not only human rights and civil rights in Iran, but also exposing even greater danger of the life of Ukrainians.

The moral police arrested 22-year-old Mahs Amini on September 13 in Tehran allegedly for violating the country's strict law about wearing a hijab, the girl was visible. The family was told that she would be released from the police station after the “re -education session”. She died in the Iranian hospital on September 16. Witnesses reported that Amini was beaten in the van for the detainees, but the police deny this. Doctors diagnosed Amini with a stroke and a heart attack, her kidneys refused, and the girl fell into a coma. Law enforcement officers insist that she died due to heart problems. Officials also deny all the accusations and say that the deceased simply found heart problems.

After that, protests broke out in the west of Iran. Security officials use violence against demonstrators, there are killed and wounded. In total, about 18 thousand people were arrested from the beginning of the unrest, several death sentences were issued, not one of them has been executed. According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (Hrana), from September 17, 462 protesters and 61 security officials were killed during the protests.
