Media: Chechen oppositionist Tumso Abdurakhmanov, who criticized Kadyrov, stopped contacting

The Opposition Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov, who repeatedly criticized the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the authorities, stopped in touch in Sweden, where he received the political fiction in 2021. For the first time, messages about the murder of Abdurakhmanov appeared in the Telegram channel “Ichkeria: Heroes, Enemies and traitors” on December 1.

The authors of the channel clarified that the sources transmitting the information are unofficial, and the level of trust in them is low. The publication also states that the neighbor Abdurakhmanova heard shots, which she reported on her Instagram page. On the same day, a video appeared in the pro-Russian Telegram channel “Caucasus Front” in which the man is hospitalized with bullet wounds. The signature under the video says that Abdurakhmanov was killed. Prochrevsky telegram channel "Rybar" also claims that Abdurakhmanov, "apparently, was killed."

The Chechen human rights organization VayFond, in turn, reports that the organization of the organization MOHMAD Abdurakhmanov, who is the brother of Tumso, also ceased to be in touch. However, the channel has no information about the murder of a blogger.

In December last year, Abdurakhmanov said that nine of his relatives were stolen in Chechnya. He was already attempted in February 2020, the attack occurred in his apartment in Sweden, but Abdurahmanov managed to disarm the attacker and call the police. Then they did not find customers, the prosecutor at the meeting stated that he was suspected of the connection of the attackers with the leadership of Chechnya. In the mid-2010s, the opposition left Russia due to a conflict with Kadyrov’s relatives, and in 2021 he received a political asylum in Sweden.

Over the past few years, several critics of Kadyrov have died during the assassination attempts in European countries, among them-blogger Mamihan Umarov, Mansur Old (Imran Aliyev) and the former commander of the platoon of Ichkeria Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, for the murder of which the ex-employee of the FSB was condemned.
