Blogger Veronika Belotserkovskaya in absentia was sentenced to 9 years in the colony in the case of “fakes” about the RF Armed Forces, according to “Caution, News”. She was also forbidden to administer Internet pages for 5 years. Earlier, the accusation insisted on such punishment.

According to investigators, in March, Belotserkovskaya, on her Instagram page, published posts, which contained "knowingly false information about the use of armed CIL of the Russian Federation to destroy cities and the civilian population of Ukraine."

On February 1, the court in Moscow in absentia sentenced the journalist Alexander Nevzorov to 8 years in the colony in the case of Fakes about the RF Armed Forces.

According to the materials of the case, from March to May 2022, Nevzorov, being outside of Russia, published texts and videos on various social networks with “knowingly false information” about crimes committed by Russian military in Buch and Mariupol.
