Roskomnadzor since 2019 regularly has been monitoring opposition posts on social networks. Officials are judging by the publications of famous journalists, bloggers and analysts about protest moods on the Internet, including Alexander Plyushchev, Ruslan Leviev, Mark Feigin. But instead of gratitude for the work on reporting for the RKN of the opposition agenda, these journalists and bloggers receive the status of “foreign” one by one.
Details . Dozens of reports with an analysis of the opposition mood “Agency” found in a flowing archive of the documents of Roskomnadzor and its structural unit “The Main Radio Frequency Center” (GRCHC). Documents of the GRCHC was posted into the network of Belarusian cyber partisans.
Each monitoring made by the employees of the GRCC consists of two parts: federal and regional. In reviews, posts are quoted both with criticism and with power support. In the federal part of monitoring from pro -government sources from the beginning of the war, military commissars Yuri Kotenok, Dmitry Smirnov, the Rybar channel, Readovka and “Tsargrad” are almost constantly quoted. Most of the available reviews are quoted by lawyer and video blogger Mark Feigin, journalists Alexander Nevzorov and Yuri Dud, YouTube channel “Navalny Live”, comrades-in-arms of Alexei Navalny Lyubov Sobol and Kira Yarmysh, founder of Conflict Intelligence Ruslan Leviev, journalist Alexander Plyushchev. There are many links in monitoring to journalists by Alexei Venediktov, Dmitry Korzev, Sergey Smirnov, as well as publicist Stanislav Belkovsky, journalists Kirill Shuliku and Elizabeth Laserson. All of them (except for the last three) were recognized in 2022 by “foreign agents” in Russia, many were put on the wanted list, and the court in absentia sentenced Nevzorov to 8 years in the colony.
Economists Sergey Guriev, Konstantin Sonin and Vladimir Milov (recognized as an “foreign agent” and put on the wanted list) are mentioned as opposition sources in reviews.
Of the Ukrainian sources, Roskomnadzor monitors the former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Armovich, adviser to the head of the presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak and journalist Anatoly Sharia.
