In St. Petersburg, Kursk, Novosibirsk and Kazan on Sunday, February 26, police raids on teenagers passed. According to BAZA, law enforcement officers are looking for representatives of the youth subculture "PMC Redan". According to Telegram channel, they are distinguished in long hair and images of spiders on clothes.

"Fontanka" writes that in the shopping and entertainment center "Gallery" in St. Petersburg, riot police detained more than 130 teenagers. A source of publication in law enforcement agencies said that there was a fight in the shopping center in which the child was injured. According to the source, a group of children attacked a boy in black clothes with a spider - a symbol of “PMC Redan”.

Earlier, Baza reported that on February 24, more than 30 teenagers were detained in the Moscow shopping center, and that the raid continued the next day. The reason for them was fights between groups of adolescents in the territory of the shopping center. The followers of the PMC Redan allegedly participated in these fights. According to BAZA, this is a new youth subculture inspired by the Japanese manga “Hunter X Hunter”, which appears the criminal group “Gene Rodan”, also known as “Ghost” or “Spider”.

The head of the safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, accused the media and social networks of disseminating information about the “PMC Redan”, which, in her opinion, led to a surge of interest in movement. “From the local current in a few days it has become all -Russian. More than 100 channels appeared in TG alone, no less than them and in VK, they instantly scored an audience, ”Mizulina wrote, noting that“ the media and large media resources (such as large TG channels) should have a direct ban on covering such topics. ”
